Botox

We provide personalized care to help address:

Before Your Botox Treatment:

  • Avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications (like aspirin, ibuprofen), and fish oil supplements for 24–48 hours prior.
  • Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, lotion, or sunscreen if possible.
  • Stay well-hydrated and get a good night's rest the evening before.
  • Let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any active infections.

After Your Botox Treatment:

  • Avoid lying flat for at least 4 hours after your treatment.
  • Refrain from rubbing, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated areas for 24 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and heat exposure for 24–48 hours.
  • You may experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness—this typically resolves within a few hours to a day.
  • Results will start to appear within 3–7 days, with full effects around 2 weeks.

Dermal Fillers

Before Your Filler Treatment:

  • Avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications (like aspirin, ibuprofen), and fish oil supplements for 24–48 hours prior.
  • Stay well-hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment.
  • Please inform us of any history of cold sores so we can discuss pre-treatment options.
  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

After Your Filler Treatment:

  • Mild swelling, redness, and tenderness are normal and typically subside within a few days.
  • Apply a cool compress (gently!) if needed to reduce swelling.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, heat exposure, or massaging the area for 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid dental work or vaccinations for at least 2 weeks post-treatment.
  • Final results typically settle within 1–2 weeks.

Chemical Peels

Before Your Chemical Peel:

  • Discontinue retinol, tretinoin, glycolic acids, and other exfoliating products 5–7 days prior.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a week before treatment.
  • Inform us of any recent cosmetic treatments, sunburns, or infections.

After Your Chemical Peel:

  • Mild redness, tightness, and peeling are expected over the next few days.
  • Avoid picking, pulling, or scrubbing peeling skin.
  • Keep skin hydrated with recommended moisturizers.
  • Use a gentle cleanser and broad-spectrum SPF daily.
  • Avoid active ingredients (retinol, exfoliants, strong acids) until your provider advises otherwise.

Microchanneling

Before Your Microchanneling Treatment:

  • Discontinue retinol, exfoliants, and aggressive skincare 3–5 days prior.
  • Stay well-hydrated and eat a balanced meal before your appointment.
  • Arrive with clean, bare skin (no makeup, lotions, or sunscreen).
  • Avoid sunburns or tanning for at least a week before your appointment.

After Your Microchanneling Treatment:

  • Redness and sensitivity similar to a mild sunburn are normal for 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid makeup, heavy creams, and active skincare ingredients for the first 24–48 hours.
  • Use a gentle cleanser, hydrating serum, and recommended post-care products.
  • Strict sun protection is essential—wear SPF daily.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, hot showers, or saunas for 24 hours.
